Into the light of the dark black night.

Friday after Guysndolls, we went bowling in honor of Heidi's 18th birthday, and it was really fun. Afterward, DJ and I went to get Jones Sodas from Safeway. We were going to meet the rest of our group in the McDonalds drive-through, but nooo. DJ had to cut off a police car and run through a stop sign. Mind you, it was after midnight at that point. (Why am I always with DJ when I have a "run in" with the "Po-po" after curfew? Believe it or not, it HAS happened before.) So I'm freaking out, convinced the cop is going to ask if I'm eighteen or not. But he never even looked at me.

The police guy also left us waiting in the car a while, so I opened my Jones. I thought my fortune was going to be something ironic like, "Good news is on the way," and I voiced my thought to DJ after reading my actual fortune-thingy: "You just helped save a child's eyesight. Thank you." (Which is actually pretty awesome, but there's not a whole lot of irony in it.) After we got through with the ticket and etc, we got on the highway (headed to Sede's house) and he opened his Jones. What's his fortune, you ask? "Good news is on the way." Word for word as I predicted mine to be. (I actually only said that exactly because it's a Modest Mouse lyric.) I thought he was kidding when he read it to me at first, but no. For serious.

I didn't get pulled over tonight (Saturday), but oh well. It was still an adventure today. Especially trudging through the (very wet) gray slush with Mary, Heidi, Scott and Octavia to Safeway during our 2 hour break, dancing crazily during Havana and Luck be a Lady in the wings with all the people who weren't on stage and running around on the catwalk with a bunch of people. Oh, and the invisible gun was pretty awesome too. Tonight's evening performance was the greatest.

If you haven't seen the show yet, you better. And to those of you who I complained to about it previously, I was wrong. Get your ass down from Scappoose and/or Vancouver and watch this show. And if you're from St Helens and haven't seen it yet, you should come down to the high school at 2:00 pm tomorrow to see it.

Nobody did anything tonight after the show. Scott drove me home, and we were both wide awake and ready to partay. But nobody was planning on doing anything, so we just drove home and talked about Scientology.

This was a long journal. And it was mostly just two recent bulletins put together.

I'm really tired, but I'm not going to sleep before I look up a Youtube video of some guy reading the lyrics to "I'm gonna buy you a drank" poetically.
